Guarantee

We offer a 10 year guarantee on all of our pressure treated timber products. That’s because we use full cell pressure treated timber to protect against wood rot and mould.

You’re only moments away from ordering a Garden Shed that will change your garden for good!

What is Pressure Treating?

Presure treating timber is done by dipping the wood into a preservative solution. We only use Scandinavian pressure-treated wood to give our customers a long-lasting investment with a distinctive look that never fades.

Shiplap Timber Cladding

The Eco Range is made by hand, to order, in our own manufacturing plant. Laying 12mm cladding boards for a smart look and strong finish. The floorboards are made using 20mm Tongue and Groove boards that have three stress incisions made in them for extra support in the floor.

Box Profile Roof

One thing that never changes on an MCD shed is our Steel Roof that will last you a lifetime. We never compromise on a solid roof by using felt, so you’ll never replace this!

What should my Garden Shed go on?

All garden sheds must be assembled on a firm and level base to give the shed a solid foundation and maximise the longevity of the building. Without a firm and level base, you may find that the shed can drop out of square causing issues with the doors not closing properly or the roof twisting potentially leading to water ingress.

All of your questions answered!

The building does require a solid level base that is capable of taking significant weight. If your base is not level and you have not ordered an EZ base your building may be left for self assembly. For any garden shed with PVC windows or doors, we insist on a concrete base.

All of our garden structures are fully pressure treated and come with a 10-year anti-rot guarantee. We would suggest that you protect your building by using a waterproof preservative or stain within 8 weeks of installation. Always ensure that you carefully follow the product's instructions, and make sure that it can be used with outdoor, smooth-planed, treated timber. The timber must be dry before treatment is applied

We can certainly look at any design you may have and provide a quote if its possible for us to produce. Check out our Garden Room page for a look at some of the work we have done!

They are delivered by a team of expert fitters. They will take the shed into your garden and build your shed!

"We deliver and fit our sheds, summerhouses and garden rooms nationwide. Within 20 miles of our Barnsley HQ this is done for free, further afield the cost is calculated at checkout, simply add your postcode to find out. Alternatively call our sales team to check.

Ideally yes but if you cannot be there our team are self sufficient so do not need any power / water etc.

Again, this depends. The average shed would be roughly an hour whereas a larger summerhouse may take a half day. Some garden rooms can be a two day job!

Of course! Check out the optional upgrades tab on each of our garden shed products to see what extras we offer! Speak with a member of our team and they will guide you through how to add any extras to your order!

Each MCD Garden Shed is lined with an internal membrane. This liner is a breathable fabric, allowing moisture and condensation to escape the room. Reducing any build up of damp or mould.

Height restrictions, tight turns or steep steps can cause access issues, our sales team can help you to assess your access. Where our team must go through your house to get to your garden is where we may have issues but don't worry, our team can make the panels smaller, we just need to know!

Don't worry, our team can make the panels smaller, we just need to know!

You need to clear the area for your garden shed.

The timber we use is fully pressure treated, therefore it comes with a 10 year anti-rot guarantee. The roof is box profile steel and will last the life of the building with no maintenance required on the roof.

A timber product will always need maintaining to get the maximum life span. We will send you a care guide for you to follow with your order confirmation.

At the time of order we take a 25% deposit then the balance is not due until 2 working days before installation, you can however pay a larger deposit or the amount in full at the time of ordering if you prefer.

We always recommend to install guttering. We can offer this as an upgrade, please ask the sales team. Guttering allows you to control the water coming off the roof. Without guttering you will find water will run off the roof and hit the ground. This will splash back against the building at floor level possibly causing damp problems.
