Our Ruby Combo summerhouse is the perfect escape in your own home. The combo is perfect for turning into a home office, playroom, gym or home bar as a DIY project over the summer!
This build offers a unique summerhouse with an attached shed to store gardening equipment. The remaining space is designed as a summerhouse with large acrylic windows ensuring a bright garden room.
Pressure Treated Shiplap Timber Cladding
Each Ruby Combo is made by hand in our Workshop. We do this by laying individual 23.5mm timber boards that have been planed to 20mm in a shiplap style for optimal protection from the elements. The floor is made using 20mm Tongue and Groove boards that have three stress incisions made in them for extra support in the floor.
Pressure Treated Timber is wood that has been submerged in a preservative solution and a vacuum is used to force the chemicals deep into the grain. We only use Scandinavian Pressure Treated timber to provide our customers with a characteric that never fades, a long lasting investment.
Additional Roof Overhang
The roof on the Ruby Combo is a box profile steel roof. This requires no maintenance or love and will last a lifetime! We have a sloped pent roof on this unit, with an additional front underclad canopy of 16 inches. Customers often install spot lighting in this overhang for a beautiful exterior finish!
Garden Shed Combination
The Combo is quite a unique build from MCD, It takes both a summer house and garden shed but presents underneath one roof. With an interior partition wall and separate exterior door, the shed is totally sealed off from inside!

The combo is measured as sidewall by gable. So if you see a measurement for an 10x8ft Combo. This would mean it is 10ft wide, this where the doors & windows are, while being 8ft deep.
